The Adaptive Humanist is a multi-authored course blog populated by students enrolled in professional issues courses led by Lissette Lopez Szwydky (Assistant Professor of English, University of Arkansas). Posts include a variety of the following: (1) discussions of books, articles, and websites focused on professional issues for humanities students/graduates; and (2) reflective entries based on course assignments that offer the opportunity to consider related questions and issues for discussion. The blog will be heavily populated in 2016 during Spring and August intersession in conjunction with an English course titled “Liberal Arts at Work: A Professionalization Workshop.”

Scholars and higher education professionals interested in learning more about this course may email Dr. Lissette Lopez Szwydky at lissette@uark.edu.
